Wood-fired Altered Vases
Only the pieces in the Shop are available for on-line purchase. The other pieces on the website are displayed as examples of my work, some current and others already sold. If a particular piece from the main website interests you, please email me, and I will try to send you photos of similar pieces that are available, taking into account the fact that each piece is hand-made and unique.

Purchasing, shipping and handling policy:
Purchased pieces may be shipped to an address within the United States, or they may be picked up at Studio 226 at the Torpedo Factory Art Center, 105 North Union Street, Alexandria, VA 22314.
There is a per-item shipping fee of $10 for all small bowls, tea bowls and cups. The shipping fee for altered vases is $15 per item. Pottery is shipped double-boxed for extra protection, and is insured. Ordinarily, pieces may not be returned or exchanged. If a piece arrives damaged in transit, however, please email me at scohen2100@gmail.com within 2 days of delivery, and include photos of the damaged piece and of the damaged packing materials. I will give return authorization and instructions.
If an item is shipped from my studio in Virginia to another location in Virginia, I must include the 6% VA sales tax. If shipped outside of VA, this tax is not included.
